The Sound of Rushing Waters
It is written that your voice will sound like rushing waters
Like the waterfalls over Africa that plummet depths unfathomable to man
The roar will only be heard by a chosen few
Although every man has heard the Word and we have been to every nation on the map
Men have bowed down in surrender of your commands
But until they hear the sound of rushing waters
The soaring sounds- the blends of an indistinguishable tongue
Hebrew Greek Arabic and Aramaic, all blended together in a sound of greatness that conquers the Dark One
He will be forced back to his pit of fire and smoke
As souls of the righteous rise up becoming an elixir to the heavens
Lifting one at a time converging to the realms of depiction
Only seen in fine oil paintings in the museums written off dismissed as fiction
Fairy tales greater than Plato and Socrates
Living empty lives leaving no kingdom pleased
Missing the call to battle on Earth
The Dark One ruled and we pushed him back- barely
We were the prayer warriors that held the Dam
Running the tongues of seas, rivers and tributaries
As you came again to force back the Damned
Drowned in the silence of the rushing waters
The voice of Jesus Christ of Nazareth the sound of the true King
Bringing his prodigal Sons and dutiful Daughters up to the palace of Peace
The Lamb of Glory, The Light of The World offers the Bride's ring
The reward we waited for as those talked of evolution
The endless battles over your name leading to the final revolution
The synagogues bombed, the churches burnt, mosques left empty- tiles hang in silence
There was nowhere left to gather but we prayed and waited
We saw all the Signs
Inundated during the last siege of defiance
The hours passed quickly as science accelerated inverted experiments
The rushing waters fell on deaf ears
We were soaked in your presence
Total silence and awe, no one cheers
The deafening sound of your voice is a choir from every nation
Confessions and prayers from a world congregation
Pushing back the battle of battles, the spiritual warfare, the ones who mocked us stood in silence and disbelief
Unable to comprehend the concept of being left behind
As they stood alone unable to hear the sound of rushing waters.[/color]
